The Crown King Fire Dept fundraiser was one of the best ever! The event was packed with bargain hunters…others were there just for the great food and cold beer. The 2012 Auction featured many unique donations! Both kids and grown ups had lots of fun this year. The auction raised over $15,000 for the needs of the local volunteer fire department. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard at the auction/dinner and also to all who attended. The bidders were very generous and the CKFD appreciates all of you! We took a lot of photos and have included the slide show for you! Crown King is lucky to have such wonderful folks who love and support our town. Just got home from a very memorable trip to Crown King the weekend of Sept. 21st and absolutely LOVED it! The owners of Cedar Roost, Mike and Darla, are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Darla has a wealth of information on the history of Crown King and I was so pleased to hear all the stories she had to share. She truly helped make my trip unforgetable. Thanks!
