There is no better way to spend a Fall Day than in Crown King!
The weekend following the CK Fire Dept Auction, our town played host to one of the most unique golf tournaments ever imagined! The nine hole course treated golfers to some of the most rugged terrain imaginable. Golfing down a dirt road in the middle of a forest may look easy, but just ask the golfers! They will tell you that the golfingĀ gets tougher as the beer are consumed. This year’s event offered 70 golfers a chance to showcase their golfing talent, along with originality & sense of humor. Once again, the participants did not disappoint us. While many of the golfers never actually made it all the way to town to golf the final 9th hole, they did all have a lot of fun! Thanks to the Crown King Road Association, Tommy & Bill Burke, Herb Shepard, Chuck Bolle & all the sponsors & volunteers that helped to make the Golf Tournament a success again this year.
