Where Did the Crown King Sign Go?????
Yep! If you are traveling from Phoenix to Crown King you will notice a flashing sign recently installed by the Az Dept of Transportation. It seems that someone there decided that the Bumble Bee/ Crown King exit was no longer going to have our town’s name on it! Their excuse was that they are not in the business of “advertising” towns. After many complaints from local business owners, ADOT has resorted to a flashing sign to let drivers know where to exit! Hopefully this is just a temporary ‘fix’ and there will be new signs installed with Crown King prominently noted on them. Thanks to Carl Schaefer for all his efforts to resolve this problem for our town. By the way, Carl is running for Member at Large in the CK Community Association. We strongly support him!
