Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful guests and sponsors, Wine in the Pines 2012 was a huge success!! For the 6th year, we have hosted this event to raise money for Child Crisis Center, a shelter for abused and neglected children. This year’s Wine in the Pines raised over $6,000 for the Crisis Center — those most money raised over the past 6 years!
Over 220 guests were treated to an evening in the pines, complete with gourmet appetizers, unique ice creams, a selection of wines and beers, prizes and a terrific live band! It was the biggest and best Wine in the Pines, by far!
Thanks to The Melting Pot, owners Keith Burns & Michelle Todaro and their hard working volunteers, for sharing with us the Mastery of the Art of Fondue! We greatly appreciate everything you did, and a special thanks go out to your helpers, Dave & Meara Perrin, Mia Cantone, Chris Sharron & Jason Brown for working all evening! Lisa Varney paired her decadent Nice Cream Ice Cream with our selection of wines for a most indulgent affair! Thank you Lisa & Wayne!
When we found ourselves without a band due to rescheduling our event, Bob Cosburn came through for us, helping us book ‘The Petty Thieves’ for the night’s entertainment. They were an excellent choice and kept the event rocking all evening!
Every year, Herb Shepard creates a one-of-a-kind door prize for us. This year, Herb carved a bear sitting on a wine glass holding a bottle of Chardonnay. The lucky winner was Casey Wyatt! Congrats to Casey and thank you to Herb for his awesome donation!
We couldn’t have put on such a party without the help of Pam Jensen, Derick Ormsby and Kim & Andrew Boren. You guys rock! And to everyone who attended and helped support the Child Crisis Center, a great BIG THANK YOU! We hope everyone had a blast and look forward to seeing you in Crown King soon!
