Memorial Day Parade 2011
Main Street, Crown King Arizona
The street was lined with spectators as the 2011 Crown King Memorial Day Parade rolled down Main Street. Dubbed “The Worlds Shortest Parade”, the CK Memorial Day Parade is over before you know it! Luckily, Main Street is a Dead End, so the floats turn around at the Bear Creek Cabins & tour through town again for another look! Lots of candy and smiles are shared by all. The ice cream shop at the General Store was scooping up delicious Thrifty Ice Cream for customers who staked their claims on the porch of the store. As always, the Historic CK General Store offered Veterans, both active and retired military, a 20% discount and FREE Ice Cream Cones. On behalf of all the staff and the owners of the CK General Store, thank you for your service to our great country. We all are grateful for all our Military and remember those who have sacrificed so much for the Freedom we enjoy. Happy Memorial Day to all. GOD BLESS THE USA!
