Congratulations to Kalib Wilkinson for being the first to cross the finish line in the 2013 Crown King Scramble! This grueling run begins at Lake Pleasant and ends at the Crown King Saloon! The runners, all 150 of them, are trickling into town this morning. Kalib ran it in 4 hrs and 10 minutes. If you have ever jeeped up the back side to Crown King you know what a rugged trail these athletes are enduring. Thanks to the coordinators of this event for bringing it back to Crown King. We are happy to host the runners and their friends.
